Introduction:
Scalar Quantity:
A scalar quantity, or simply a scalar, is one that possesses only magnitude, It can be specified by a number along with unit. Scalar quantities are: mass, time, density, temperature, length, volume, speed and work.
Vector Quantity:
A vector quantity, or simply a vector, is one that possesses both magnitude and direction. Vector Quantities are: displacement, velocity, acceleration, weight, force, momentum, electric and magnetic fields.
